“Wildcrafted Woman” creator, writer and filmmaker Carol Gancia is ready for a change. After running Ripplemakers, Inc., a promotional video services business in California, for 11 years, she made way for the creation of original content that directly reflects the ethos of Ripplemakers in making a difference in the community. “Wildcrafted Woman” was born three years ago with the intention to create a television show. It evolved into a multimedia blog that is now home to inspiring videos, text and images about unique natural skincare artisans all over the world.
Carol started producing and directing for television in 1993 and has had a wide range of experience in different TV show genres. Carol is a recipient of three Emmys for “Check, Please! Bay Area,” a popular food TV show filmed in San Francisco, and a much-cherished New York Festivals Silver Medal for “I-Witness,” a one-hour health documentary filmed in the Philippines.
For Carol, every day is an opportunity to create. She enjoys collaborating with her in-house team of superheroes who fuel her enthusiasm to grow Ripplemakers and touch people’s lives in different ways. Ripplemakers is one of three successful ventures Carol has built from scratch.
